A bit about Yifei W

Hi there! My name is Yifei, or you can call me Nicole. I have my bachelor's and master's degrees in Mathematics at Imperial College. In 2017, I started my first lesson. Until now, I have delivered over 100 hours of lessons. I believe that knowing and understanding the concepts are critical in math. So I encourage my students to understand the theory rather than memorise. My class will be interactive and practical. I focus more on how to use the theory to solve problems. If you want to figure out why a specific theory or concept is working and how it works, find me and I will do my best to help! Mathematics. In my study at university, I studied many different directions in mathematics. for example, applied math, algebra, and statistics. For pre-university level, I am especially good at helping with GCSE extended, IB AA HL, and for all types of mathematical problems in GCE(A-level), since I studied A-level previously. My lesson will usually be personalized if it is a 1 to 1 lesson, according to students' needs. However, what I usually do is give examples and exercises for students to work out by themselves every time after introducing a new theorem. In addition, I will tell my students what the frequently asked exam questions are in the topic and link the knowledge from other topics to help them connect all the things they learned together.
