A bit about Lanre K

I am a mother of four and a committed educator with over fifteen years of experience in teaching and tutoring. I am an avid reader and writer with a love for travel and culture. I hold a BSc degree in Chemistry as well as an MSc degree. I am a fully qualified (QTS certified), UK trained teacher. My aim is to ensure that all children I teach are successful learners. I work to create a learning atmosphere that builds children’s self-esteem and that is stimulating, motivating, and adaptive to the varied needs of my students. I specialise in teaching English, mathematics and science to primary students in all year groups (1-6). I also specialise in teaching younger students reading, writing, phonics and number work. As well as this, I am TEFL certified and as such teach English to speakers of other languages. I am passionate about education and thoroughly enjoy working with children. I strive to do the best for my students, encouraging their creative expression and increasing self-confidence.
