A bit about Hamza H

I have always loved English ever since I was a little boy. My passion for English was born in primary school from a wonderful teacher, Sian, who had such a unique way of teaching the subject. I like to think I possess a little bit of her in all of my sessions, always seeking to make students happy while they learn. I have GCSE English (Language & Literature) with grades B and C, as well as an A-level in English Language & Literature. Before studying to gain my Literature degree, I was an apprentice mentor at a primary school in London. Since then, I have had various jobs in education, working with pupils across all ages. I have worked as a childminder, mentor, teaching assistant, and learning support. At the moment, I am studying to gain my DET (Diploma in Education lv.5) and become a qualified teacher. My students love how down-to-earth I come across, and I am extremely glad for this feedback before all else. I believe I am an optimistic, joyous individual with a real passion for English. And when my pupils express that they enjoy my sessions and find them entertaining yet informational, I am overjoyed. Outside of teaching, I have an interest in reading and writing. I have a blog wherein I enjoy interacting with my readers. I also am very much into keeping fit and enjoy exercise such as dancing, skipping, and going to the gym.
