A bit about La

I am an experienced tutor (6+ years) who has tutored students as young as 3 and as grown as 65. Playfulness is my life as well as my tutoring motto, and I believe nothing in life should be taken too seriously. I specialize in tutoring high schoolers in Maths and Physics. I have a first-class degree in Civil Engineering and I'm currently pursuing a master in Business Analytics. My teaching style was heavily influenced by David Deutch's book The Fabric of Reality where he discusses the importance of understanding the underlying causes of a phenomenon over the importance of understanding the effects. I encourage my students to fill in gaps in their understanding and fully grasp fundamental rules and theorems. This boosts their confidence in their ability to logically solve new problems and makes seemingly purely theoretical subjects like Physics and Math more relatable. I started tutoring in 2015. My tutoring journey started with tutoring friends' kids' English. Soon I felt comfortable tutoring older kids in subjects I enjoyed. In 2018 I joined the International Foundation Group where I tutored students in Maths, Physics and Business Studies I enjoy reading and playing tennis in my free time. I teach IB, MYP and GCSEs
