A bit about Nayil A

I specialise in maths from KS1-KS5 and aspects of entrance exams for 11+ and 13+. I specialise in Edexcel but have taught OCR/AQA before and can also teach IB.

I first started tutoring in 2016 during my days as a undergraduate.

I like to start by going over any pre-requisite knowledge needed to access the lesson. We then move on to the theory with some worked examples. I then move on to some guided practice followed by independent practice. We finish off with a review.

I love the progress over a lesson or over many lessons of a student starting off with a feeling of confusion and by the end wondering why they were finding it so difficult.

I have a PG-Cert In Education and a BSc in Economics and Mathematics.

I'm a full time maths teacher with several years of experience as a private tutor.

Outside of teaching I enjoy watching a lot of sports in my free time and also spending time with my family.
