A bit about Philip M

I specialise in Latin which I taught to students from age 7 to 70 both working towards formal qualifications (GCSE, A-Level) and for fun. I have also taken students, privately and in school settings through GCSE Maths and Physics. I first started tutoring while I was at university in Durham, continued while studying as a post graduate in Oxford, and continued to do it while working as a full-time teacher. Now I tutor full-time and so I have both experience and flexibility. After doing Maths, Further Maths and Physics I decided to do an about turn and study Classics at University in Durham followed by postgraduate studies at Oxford. After finishing, I went to work at a renowned private school and taught in several different school settings over the next few years, including state primary. Now I enjoy teaching privately full-time.
