A bit about Evie W

I am a secondary school science teacher, covering biology, chemistry and physics from years 7 to 11. I have experience with SEND students and will always aim to do my best for each individual I teach, no matter what they need. At home I look after two young children as well. I love Science. It is all around us, everything we do and touch is down to Science. I love relating topics to real life experience and seeing students in aw e of what they are learning. I also love to use Science to push my students to think outside of the box, it really helps with understanding, and this is one of those few subjects where we can do that. My students love that I get them talking and debating about important subjects in Science. Parts of Science are facts and parts are opinion, but talking gets them to think about the how's and why's and I think that feels them with confidence in their understanding.
