A bit about Kate

I believe that everyone has their own unique studying method that helps them excel. I incorporate creative studying methods such as mind-mapping and mnemonics to help my students understand and retain information effectively. I have been a motivational coach in AKLTG (Adam Khoo Learning Technologies Group) for 7 years, in which I have been trained to deliver memory techniques and self-preservation tactics to my participants. I have also sold my high school and A-Levels notes for charity and have received tremendous feedback from the students. I tutor during school breaks and my students have been telling their parents that they look forward to my classes as they had fun during the learning process and improvements were shown. I have strived for academic excellence throughout my schooling years and I am excited to share my knowledge and studying skills with more students. Mandarin, Malay, English, Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics and Psychology Beginners / GCE A-Levels I suggest lessons be 1.5hours long. Lessons would include a short recap of the content covered in the previous lesson, content delivery, discussions on exercises given, and wrapping up with a short conclusion. I am flexible in terms of lesson structures to meet the specific needs of my students. Being able to instill confidence in my students in the content they are learning, knowing that they would do well in their exams with sufficient preparation and the right mindset.
