A bit about Graham R

I have taught physics and maths in schools to a wide range of students in this country and in Kenya and in Saudi Arabia. I have a BSc from University of London, Diploma in Education from University of Swansea and an MSc from Middlesex University. I am now retired from school teaching but teach both online and in students own homes. I specialise in A-level physics, covering the whole syllabus, and also take on students for GCSE in maths and physics. In this country I have taught in comprehensive schools in London and Hertfordshire and also in a public school in Hertfordshire. In Kenya I was Head of Physics Department in, at different times, three Kenya schools, teaching to A-level students for most of whom English was not their first language. I have two types of students: those who are with me for the whole course and those needing some help near exam time. For the first group I if online I share material with them, explaining and involving them and setting homework to look at next lesson. For the second group I go through any past exam questions or any topics that they raise with me. Since retiring from school teaching I started teaching individual students in 2019 in their own homes. With the arrival of Covid I changed to online teaching, and am now available to do both.
