A bit about Angela S

I have many years experience in the classroom and worked my way up to assistant headteacher. I have experience teaching children with Special Educational Needs and children with behavioural challenges. I teach ALL subjects in the primary curriculum however specialise in English. As an assistant headteacher, I led English throughout the school, training and supporting the teachers and teaching assistants in the best strategies to teach the children. My lessons involve using a range of resources to engage and excite the child including IT, singing, games, and written work. Homework is usually handed out as well to consolidate the learning. My interests outside of teaching are spending time with my two, amazing children and exploring and reading books based around ancient history. I studied history at university and have always been passionate about discovering the past and learning more about the world. In my spare time, spending time with my children paramount. We enjoy visiting parks, theatres, museums and travelling to different parts of the UK.
