A bit about Fiona G

I am familiar with the Scottish Exam System and have previous experience tutoring Higher Human Biology. The style of my teaching will be up to your preferences. In our introductory chat, you will be able to tell me how you like to learn and what is best for you. I will then be able to write tailor-made lesson plans to suit. All students are different, you might prefer to be taught with materials sourced from the internet; Youtube videos, interactive quizzes, fun activities, etc or want more traditional coursebook learning and focus on answering past paper questions or need a study plan and revision tips. It is up to you, just ask! I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Biosciences obtained at The University of Strathclyde. My main subjects of study here were biochemistry and immunology. and a Postgraduate Certificate PGCE to teach Biology and Chemistry at the High School level. Currently, I am studying for a level 5 TEFL (teaching English as a foreign language) certificate, have passed the 180 hour TEFL Fundamental basics, Teaching one-to-one and online, and teaching business English sections of this course. Hi, I am Fiona. I would love the opportunity to tutor you (your child) and to help you excel, reaching your full potential with some one-to-one help. I am continually updating my knowledge of the Biology curriculum to enable me to help you be exam-ready, whether it be for National 5, Higher Biology, or Higher Human Biology.
