English - GCSE
A chance to learn and practice the key skills needed for a success in English at GCSE. We will focus on the skills needed for the reading sections of the language papers, but will also discuss and explore how these skills transfer to literature. We will look at understanding difficult unseen texts, inference, analysis and evaluation (please ask about my other holiday course on writing creatively and persuasively). This is ideal for students who want a head start before beginning Y10, or for students who want to be secure in their knowledge before they start Y11.
