A genuine passion in teaching and being of service to others.

Social media is an important part of our lives today. It helps us stay connected and share ideas, thoughts, and opinions with others in a safe and secure environment. It can also be used to promote businesses, organisations, and causes, as well as to stay informed about current events and trends. Additionally, social media can help build relationships with others, allowing us to interact with people from around the world and build meaningful connections. Finally, it can be used as a platform for self-expression, giving us the opportunity to express ourselves creatively and share our thoughts and experiences with others.

Social media has completely changed the way companies promote products and services to consumers. Before people started using social media, companies would advertise their products and services on traditional media outlets such as TV. The only way they could determine the success of their TV advertising campaign was to see if their Sales turnover was higher after the ad campaign compared to before. The limitation of this method is that Sales could have increased for a number of other reasons such as a growth in consumer incomes or a new type of packaging of the product.

Nowadays, social media companies have all kinds of information about their users and they use this information to target products and services that they have shown an interest in. So companies have their advertisement targeted directly at consumers who have already shown an interest in their product or service. Not only this, but with social media advertising, companies can see how many people saw their ad., how many people clicked on their ad. and if and what kind of products/services they bought from your company. Social media advertising provides companies with a ton of data/feedback that they just never had with traditional advertising which will help them determine if the ad is worth it.

So Monserrate, next time you see an advertisement on your phone...think...when was the last time I searched for this product. The answer is probably sometime in the last week.
