The population is approximately 731,000 so relatively small compared to other US states.

The population of Alaska is approx 732,673 people. While this may seem large, a large population in terms of US states is generally considered to be at least a million people, meaning Alaska has a small population.

It is relatively small compared to other states in the United States. For instance, in 2023, the population of Alaska was 733 406, while the population of New York was 19,571,216.
