Geography is more than a school subject, it's a lens to see the world.

Alaska, being a very vast and barren landscape, struggles with having enough food to feed its population. So, most people live near the coast so they can take advantage of fishing and aquaculture. It also makes it much easier to import and export goods from Alaska, and travel to the nearby islands within Alaska by boat.
