In Science this would be asking for the average of the numbers - so add up the numbers nad divide by the number of numbers.

For example 1,2,3 Average = 1+2+3 = 6/3 = 2 so the average would be two

The mean is the average value and is found by adding together all the values and dividing by how many values there are.
