The days are very long in the summer in Alaska. The northern hemisphere has longer daylight hours in the summer months as it is tilted towards the sun. As Alaska is located very far north it experiences much longer days.

Alaska has longer summer days. Due to the tilt of the Earth's axis, towards the sun and how far north Alaska is from the Equator, it receives long summer days. Alaska and other places north of the Arctic Circle have midnight sun.

I am fortunate enough to have been to Alaska in the summer months and I can assure you they are a lot longer. It was so light outside at 2am that I could happily sit outside and read a book!

Summer days in Alaska are much longer due to their being more daylight hours as opposed to the winters in alaska.

Longer days: For roughly two months of the year – those months surrounding the summer solstice – Alaskans enjoy daylight twenty-fours hours.

In Alaska, the length of days varies a lot during the year, due to the high latitude. For example, in the summer months, the days are longer due to the fact that there is the summer solstice around June 21st.
