What is the difference between coding with grouped data and coding with ungrouped data?

Help students achieve their goals by realising their potential.

Without going into too much detail, there isn't much difference other than, if the question asks for the true mean, then with grouped data you are finding an estimate of it - which is true whether or not one uses coding.
