Firstly we would convert the mixed fractions into improper fractions, i.e. (25/8) / (20/9)
Secondly we know that when dividing 2 fractions is same as multiplying the first fraction with the reciprocal of the second fraction, hence we get (25/8) x (9/20).
Thirdly we multiply the 2 numerators and 2 denominators to form a fraction, i.e. (25 x 9) / (8x20) = 225 / 160
Thus the answer would be 1.40635 using calculator, or the answer can be a fraction 45 / 32 since both the numerator and denominator each are divisible by 5 or the answer can be mixed fraction 1(13/32).
