Events is a key word which simply means a possibility which could happen. A good example of an event is the chance of rolling a 6 on a 6 sided dice

In general, an event is something that happens, especially something important or planned. Here are two main ways to think about events:

  • Occurrences: This can be anything from a birthday party to a historical event like the moon landing. Events can be big or small, planned or unplanned.
  • Organized occasions: These are planned gatherings with a specific purpose. This could be a business conference, a concert, a wedding, or a sporting event.

There are many different types of events, and they can be classified in a number of ways, such as:

  • Purpose: Social, educational, business, entertainment, etc.
  • Scale: Large international events like the Olympics or small local gatherings.
