On a box plot you should have the lowest and greatest values and the your quartile values (lower quartile, median and upper quartile).

There are 5 things you need when drawing a box plot:

1) Lowest value of the data

2) Lower Quartile

3) Median

4) Upper Quartile

5) Highest Value of the data


Note:

The following formula might be needed to work out the lower/upper quartile.

Interquartile range = Upper Quartile - Lower Quartile
