Pressure = force/area
pressure = force X area
Pressure = Force / Area (divided by)
Pressure=Force /Area
Pressure = Force/Area
Pressure is force per unit area or in other words P = F / A
Pressure = Force / Area
Pressure is measured in Pascals (Pa), Force is measured in Newtons (N) and Area is measured in metres squared (m^2). To find the pressure exerted on a surface, ensure your units are correct (i.e. make sure force is in Newtons, not nano-newtons for example!) and then divide Force by Area.
Alternatively you can re-arrange the 'triangle' to give you force and area. Remember, what you do to one side of the equals sign you must do to the other!

Pressure is equal to force divided by area so the pressure triangle would have an F at the top and the bottom row is P then A. Hope this helps good luck!

Force= pressure x area
so force is on top of the triangle with pressure and area in the lower half
