Use the method of keep, change flip.

Keep the first fraction (2/3) the same.

Change the divide to a times.

Flip the second fraction from 2/6 to 6/2.

The calculation is now 2/3 x 6/2

Multiply the numerators (2 x 6 = 12)

Multiply the denominators (3 x 2 = 6)

Write new fraction 12/6

Simplify to answer of 2

You need to flip the second fraction and then multiply

2/3 x 6/2

You would multiply the numerators and then the denominators

answer: 12/6

You then need to simplify

answer: 2

Easiest way to solve is through the β€œKeep Switch Flip” method, which is:

  1. Keep the first fraction as it is.
  2. Switch the division sign to a multiplication sign.
  3. Flip the second fraction upside down.

So, applying this, we would have

β€œ2/3 times 6/2 (you can simplify that to 3”.

This gives us 12/6, which equals to 2.

So 2 is the final answer.
