Hello! How's it going? 34 x 20 is 680! 34 x 1 is 34! Add them together and you get 714! I hope that helps!

You can use the grid method for this multiplication.
First draw a grid and display the numbers as seen below:
Then, we will multiply and put the numbers in each box, so 20x30, 20x4, 1x30, and 1x4. This is what your grid should now look like:
Then, we add all the answers together. So, 600 + 80 + 30 + 4 = 714.
Therefore, 34 x 21 = 714.
