Hello! Great question! 8 - 3 is 5. 3 x 5 is 15. 5 divided by 15 is 0.3333 recurring!

Using BIDMAS our first step would be to work out what is inside the brackets first:
8 - 3 = 5
3 x 5 = 15
Next we need to divide our answers:
5 / 15 = 1 / 3
