The five types of inequality are as follows :
greater than is >
greater than or equal to is ≥
not equal to is ≠
less than is <
less than or equal to is ≤
1) >
2) <
3) ≤
4) ≥
5) ≠

The 5 that we use most are
1) Greater than
2) Less that
3) Equal to
4) Greater than or equal to
5) less than or equal to
There is also an identity (like an equals but with three lines instead of two). This is usually used in algebra - you can find this on a higher paper.
We can express inequalities as symbols or number lines or even be asked to solve an inequality.
