Wheb dividing by multiples of 10, such as 10, 100, 1000, 10 000 etc . Look at the zeros you have - one zero move decimal point one place to left, two zeros move decimal point, two places to the left, three zeros move decimal point three places to the left. So, 5500 becomes 55
