1/3 x 3/4.

Multiply the 2 numerators with each other. Multiply the 2 denominators with each other.


3/12 is the answer

1/4 is the further answer

When multiplying fractions you need to use the phrase 'top times top', 'bottom times bottom'

numerator multiplied by numerator so 1x3 and then multiply the denominators 3x4 so the answer is 3/12 which is 1/4 simplified

You would multiply the denominators and then the numerators.
