Calculating Uniform Acceleration Flashcards

All 2 cards in this deck

State the equation linking acceleration, change in velocity and time taken.

acceleration (m/s²) = change in velocity (m/s) ÷ time taken (s), i.e. a=(v−u)÷ta = (v - u) \div t

State the equation linking final velocity, initial velocity, acceleration and distance.

v2−u2=2×a×xv^2 - u^2 = 2 \times a \times x, where vv and uu are in m/s, aa in m/s² and xx in m
