wave speed (m/s) = frequency (Hz) × wavelength (m), i.e. $v = f \times \lambda$

What does the prefix G (giga) mean in a frequency such as 2.45 GHz?

$\times 10^9$, so 2.45 GHz $= 2.45 \times 10^9$ Hz.

What equation links the period $T$ and the frequency $f$ of a wave?

$T = 1/f$ (period in seconds, frequency in Hz).
