What is the equation linking magnification, image size and actual size?: magnification = image size ÷ actual size
What is meant by the resolution of a microscope?: The smallest distance between two points that can still be seen as two separate points.
Why is an electron microscope used to see mitochondria clearly rather than a light microscope?: It has greater magnification and greater resolution (electron beams have a shorter wavelength).
